After a long break, a3o Studios is getting back on the film horse, with a new release: 1-555-byd-nyme.
We also brought the film to the 1st Attack of the Flix, and won 3rd prize!

Our entry into the National Film Challenge “Coda” got finished and was accepted in the running.
Unlike most other competitions, filming was smooth and editing was stress free.
Entries are now being judged and we’ll know sometime around the beginning of December if we’ve been selected into the top 15.

As you may have heard, Effulgence is showing at the HP Lovecraft Film
Festival this year.

The festival is running Oct 1-2-3, and they have not announced what shorts block Effulgence will show in yet.
The cut that will be showing at the festival has not yet been seen, it has newly shot footage captured over the summer, and the length has been cut down to 20 minutes total. So come one out and check it out.
Effulgence will be playing at the “2010 – A Night of Horror International Film Festival”, an Australian based festival.

The world premiere of a3o’s new movie “Effulgence” was a resounding success.
A crowd of 40-50 lucky people got to see the film, and we had a short question and answer session afterwords.

Good news everyone: Andrew Fuller the writer of the screenplay for effulgence won the “Deep One” award at the 2009 HP Lovecraft film festival.
